What the free services cover
Murphy's Autocare does not charge for the concierge customer shuttle, the shuttle service, a check engine light code reading, a courtesy vehicle inspection, an alignment check, an A/C performance check, fluid level checks with no appointment, vehicle pick-up and delivery, or a second-opinion consultation. There is also a covered, lighted tire air station available 24 hours.
A code reading is not a repair. If you want the cause found and a repair quoted, the next step is a digital vehicle inspection. Technicians document what they see with photos and video sent to your phone or email. You approve any repair before work starts. The tech team holds ASE Certification, and senior technicians hold ASE Master Certification. That inspection, and any repair that follows it, is separate from the free code reading.
The courtesy inspection, alignment check, and A/C performance check are a look at a common concern, not a repair. Fluid level checks do not need an appointment. Pick-up and delivery and the complimentary shuttle let the car stay at the shop while you go home or to work. Ask about shuttle availability when you schedule.

Both shops are open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, and closed on weekends. Walk-ins are welcome. An appointment is the faster way to have the right technician ready.
Questions we hear
Do I need an appointment for a free check? Fluid level checks do not. For a code reading, alignment check, A/C performance check, or courtesy inspection, scheduling ahead is the better plan. Walk-ins are still welcome.
Is the shuttle free? Yes. It is a complimentary ride home or to work while the vehicle is being serviced. The always-free list also includes vehicle pick-up and delivery.
Will you start repairs during a free inspection? No. A free courtesy inspection or code reading is not approval to repair the car. You approve work after you see the inspection report.
